Study on Mechanical Properties and High Temperature Properties of Expressway Asphalt Pavement Based on Full Scale Accelerated Loading Test
The dynamic modulus test is used to evaluate the mechanical properties of the old asphalt pavement of expressway reconstruction and expansion project under the condition of 1.2 million full scale accelerated loading tests, and the penetra-tion strength test and Hamburg rutting test are used to evaluate its high-temperature properties. The dynamic modulus test re-sults show that the dynamic modulus of 0-1.2 million times of core samples of asphalt surface course at 20℃and 10 Hz is rel-atively stable, and the deviation between the maximum and minimum is about 6.9%.The results of penetration strength test show that the uniaxial penetration strength of 0-1.2 million times of core samples of asphalt pavement is relatively stable, and the changes of penetration strength of overlay, upper layer, middle layer and lower layer of old road are-0.04 MPa,0.11 MPa,-0.03 MPa and 0.18 MPa respectively. The results of Hamburg rutting test show that the core sam-ples of overlay and upper layer maintain a stable state, the test results of core samples of middle layer and lower layer fluctuate to a certain extent, and the change of lower layer is relatively obvious:the change rate of Hamburg rutting depth of lower lay-er is 114.56%,and the change rate of creep slope of lower layer is 150%.According to the results of 1.2 million full scale accelerated loading tests, the mechanical properties and high-temperature properties of the old asphalt pavement of the expressway reconstruction and expansion project are stable, the expanded pavement can meet the requirements of traffic load.
