Discussion on the Selection of Modern Tram Overhead Catenary Support Foundation
Compare and analyze several overhead catenary support foundations that are used commonly.A few aspects about founda-tion features,anti-overturning bearing capacity,subgrade structure,pipelines,geology,site conditions,construction procedure,costs are analyzed and compared,combined with modern tram in Chengyang District of Qingdao City.The controlling factors of overhead catenary support foundation selection are discussed.The on-site conditions should be fully utilized for support foundation selection,extension foundation should be adopted for support foundation on the main line,and pile foundation should be adopted for support foundation of soft crossing at intersections.The bearing capacity of rocks is fully utilized in this project,so that rock anchor foundation is innovatively adopted,hoping to provide some references for similar projects.
