The Implementation of the"Double Reduction"Policy and the New Educational Inequity—Based on the Survey of 30 Counties(Cities,Districts)in 6 Provinces
The implementation of the"double reduction"policy aims to promote educational eq-uity,but it has caused some new educational inequity problems:the hidden variation of disciplinary off-campus training may further widen the gap in students'academic achievement;the gap in after-school service quality may further widen the gap in urban and rural education;and the gap in teach-ing quality may further exacerbate the gap between schools.The main reasons are as follows:the overlapping effects of multiple factors give rise to the invisible variation of off-campus training;the current education gap is an important cause of the widening gap of after-school service and teaching quality;the deviation in the implementation of the"double reduction"policy further aggravates the gap in after-school service and teaching quality.To this end,it is proposed that we adhere to the supply side and demand side two-way governance,in-depth crack the subject class off-campus training hi-dden variation problems.We will vigorously promote the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education,and strive to narrow the education gap between urban and rural areas and be-tween schools.We will optimize the implementation of the"double reduction"policy and strive to narrow the gap in after-school services and teaching quality.
