Dilemmas,Solutions and Future Direction of Self-evaluation of Process Quality of Kindergarten in the Digital Era
In the digital era,leveraging digital technology to empower educational reform and pro-mote the improvement of preschool education quality has become an effective support for advancing the modernization of education and a crucial breakthrough for the substantial development of early childhood education in the future.In the process of criticizing and reflecting on the"quality dis-course",it is necessary to change the current situation of"emphasizing external evaluation over self-evaluation","prioritizing outcomes over processes"and"emphasizing experience over empirical evi-dence".The focus should be on three aspects:firstly,constructing a self-evaluation community com-posed of stakeholders to respond to the question of"who evaluates";secondly,emphasizing the pro-cess quality of classroom observation to address the question of"what to evaluate";and thirdly,ex-ploring a continuous improvement evidence-based evaluation mechanism to address the question of"how to evaluate."Efforts should be made to establish a scientific evaluation perspective,improve the evaluation process,enhance digital literacy,ensure information security,and promote the moderni-zation and high-quality development of preschool education,fostering the healthy and joyful growth of young children.
