Research on the Academic Development of the First-generation Family College Students in the Elite University from the Perspective of Uncertainty
In today's VUCA era of change,the educational environment has undergone unprece-dented changes.The development of massification and popularization of higher education in China has prompted more first-generation college students from families to enter elite universities,but first-generation college students who grew up in a single environment have formed a unique"duality"characteristic.How they grow up in a learning environment with a high sense of uncertainty has be-come a realistic problem that needs urgent attention.Based on uncertainty management theory,this study explores the effects of perceived information uncertainty on knowledge-sharing behaviors of first-generation college students through 1,490 valid questionnaires collected from undergraduate surveys.The results indicate perceived information uncertainty affects college students'knowledge sharing behavior.Family first-generation college students'traits have a moderating role between per-ceived information uncertainty and knowledge sharing behavior,and the relationship between per-ceived information uncertainty and knowledge sharing among first-generation family college students is moderated by pleasantness traits.Through the analysis of the mechanism of the influence of family first-generation college students'traits and desirability traits on college students'learning behaviors of elite university,the study puts forward support paths for the academic development of family first-generation college students at the school,student,and societal levels.
