Internationalization Strategy and Action Paths of the"Newly-formed"World-class Universities
Appropriate internationalization strategies and actions are a prerequisite for enhanc-ing the strength and influence of universities,and also a key element in building world-class universi-ties.The in-depth exploration of the explicit characteristics and actions of the internationalization strategy of"newly-formed"world-class universities is of great practical significance for enhancing the internationalization level of China's"double first-class"universities,cultivating more high-level international talents,and promoting China's achievement of a higher level of opening up to the out-side world.Through case studies on the internationalization of two"newly-formed"world-class uni-versities in Australia,it was found that Monash University and the University of Queensland continue to adjust their ecological niche goals,attach great importance to international layout,and promote ecological niche symbiosis strategy and collaborative development strategy,in order to enhance the international competitiveness of the two universities.By promoting two-way mobility between teach-ers and students,we can deeply participate in global projects,build overseas branches and expand the scope of cooperation,actively promote scientific research cooperation,enhance knowledge trans-fer and consult services,and achieve significant results in the implementation of the internationaliza-tion strategy of the two universities.The experience of the internationalization development of two"newly-formed"world-class universities in Australia has provided valuable insights for the interna-tionalization of China's"double first-class"universities,such as timely adjustment of international-ization strategies,expansion of international cooperation ecosystems,and enhancement of knowledge transformation and service levels.
