As a key subject in the practice of ideological and political education in the new era,the"what to say"and"how to say"of ideological and political teachers not only directly affect the effectiveness of ideolog-ical and political education,but also affect the quality of cultivating students.The improvement of this dis-course ability not only involves whether teachers can express themselves in accordance with semantic norms,but also depends on whether teachers have a critical awareness of their own discourse and can see social factors such as power behind discourse.Reflected in classroom teaching practice,the improvement of teacher's dis-course ability inevitably involves the following three basic dimensions:power protection is the practical foun-dation for the improvement of discourse ability;Knowledge generation is the internal driving force for impro-ving discourse ability;Discourse expression is an important means of enhancing discourse ability.
