Aesthetic education still plays a great role in today's era,and it is an important carrier for promoting quality education.Aesthetic education is to promote the education of students to perceive beauty on the basis of beauty,and ultimately point to the presentation of behavioral beauty.At the same time,aesthetic education is not simply equivalent to art education and moral education,but is a relationship of mutual promotion and mutual influence.In order to avoid the ambiguity of these concepts,on the basis of analyzing the concepts re-lated to aesthetic education,we should grasp the attitude of contemporary aesthetic education,that is,aesthet-ic education should be the education of the unity of rationality and sensibility,the education of"beautiful heart"and the education of"non-utilitarian".behavioral education.Then,we will pursue the value orienta-tion of aesthetic education,which is"balance","Highest Good"and"powerful".Finally,in order to pro-mote the healthy development of contemporary aesthetic education,we should break the strange circle of aes-thetic disciplinarization,set up a reasonable non-utilitarian evaluation mechanism,promote the practice of"u-nity of knowledge and action"in aesthetic education,and clarify and balance the cultivation of beauty and vir-tue in education.
