Durkheim's theory of three elements of morality provides theoretical knowledge for thinking about the difficulties faced by the development of moral education in colleges and universities in China and the relief strategies.In order to alleviate the current dilemmas in the development of moral education in colleges and u-niversities in China,such as the deviation of students'moral behavior and moral norms,the separation of students'individualism and collectivism social positions,the conflict between students'autonomy and moral au-thority,and the rich but ineffective integration of moral education resources,it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of college students'discipline consciousness to give full play to its due educational effect.It is nec-essary to focus on cultivating students'sense of social attachment to the collective,to promote the cultivation of students'moral consciousness of self-determination,and to promote the integration of various moral education resources by different moral education subjects.
