In modern society,festival rituals have the functions of consolidating and inheriting collective mem-ory,stimulating and inflating moral emotions,and regulating and leading social rhythms.However,the evolu-tion of traditional production and life styles,the penetration of exotic festival cultures,and the prevalence of consumerism in the information age have respectively caused the incompatibility of symbols,the incompatibility of value systems,and the incompatibility of communication media.Therefore,festival education is difficult to realize effectively.Only through new interpretation and reshaping to build collective memory,field blending and consolidating moral emotions,supplementing practice to regulate social rhythm,handling the relationship between tradition and modernity,individual and community,labor and leisure,can we reconstruct the patriot-ic education function of festival rituals.
