摘要

传统多接入边缘计算(Multi-access Edge Computing,MEC)解决方案主要提供虚拟化能力,缺少云服务及网络自动化能力,导致业务上线周期长,制约了业务规模部署商用.对此,面向边缘业务场景,提出云原生多接入边缘云架构,在欧洲电信标准化协会(European Telecommunications Standards Institute,ETSI)MEC技术框架上叠加云服务模块,通过视频监控业务的云化部署实践,体现出独特的价值,满足传统应用快速上云诉求,实现业务应用部署在网络边缘,降低数据传输时延,提高安全性,减少带宽占用.

Abstract

Traditional Multi-access Edge Computing(MEC)solutions mainly provide virtualization capabilities,but lack cloud services and network automation capabilities.As a result,the service go-online period is long,which restricts the commercial deployment of large-scale services.In this regard,for the edge business scenario,this paper proposes a cloud-native multi-access edge cloud architecture,and superimposes a cloud service module on the MEC technology framework of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute(ETSI).The cloud deployment practice of video surveillance services reflects unique value,meets the requirements of traditional applications on the cloud,implements service application deployment at the network edge,reduces data transmission delay,improves security,and reduces bandwidth usage.
