Thermal Characteristics Analysis of EHA Piston Pump Based on the Lumped Parameter Method
A thermal network model of the piston pump,the main component of the EHA(Electro Hydrostatic Actuator),is proposed to address the problems of diverse working conditions,serious heat generation,complex heat dissipation environment and thus difficult to manage the system temperature characteristics.The structure and working principle of the EHA piston pump are analyzed,the network nodes are set up according to its component characteristics,and the heat balance equations are established using the lumped parameter method.Using MATLAB to solve the model under various working conditions can obtain the temperature curves of each component,and the feasibility of the model is verified.The results show that the thermal network model can complete the thermal analysis of EHA piston pump.It can predict the system temperature accurately and quickly,and provide a basis for the design of thermal characteristics at the early stage of system design.
