Analysis on the Characteristics and Driving Forces of Land Use Change in Shaoguan City—Taking Wujiang District as an Example
The analysis of land use changes and remote sensing monitoring characteristics is of great significance for the coordinated development of regional economy and the construction of ecological civilization.Based on the multi temporal Landsat TM remote sensing image data of Shaoguan City in the past 10 years, this study explores the reason of the spatiotemporal evolution and change of land use from the two dimensions of land use dynamics and utilization state index in Wujiang District,Shaoguan City. The study shows that the cultivated land area in Wujiang District has significantly decreased, with an average annual reduction rate of 2.41 km2,while the construction land and forest land area have increased, and the growth rate gradually decreases from the urban area outward. The state index of cultivated land fluctuates at-0.55,indicating a trend of reduction in cultivated land. The state index of construction land reached a peak of 0.91 from 2010 to 2015,with a fast growth rate. From 2015 to 2020,with the government's emphasis on ecological civilization construction, the growth rate of construction land slowed down, the area of forest land increased, and the coordinated development trend of economy and ecological civilization in Wujiang District improved.
