Research on the Application of Ground Penetrating Radar in Municipal Road Detection in Yancheng City,Jiangsu Province
Yancheng city is located in the eastern coastal zone of China, with shallow groundwater level, high compressibility of underground soil, low strength, and it is easy to form loose soil, which produces uneven settlement, resulting in local subsidence and cracking of the road surface. And the long-term development of road holes will lead to road collapse. In order to investigate the distribution of underground diseases on the main roads in Yancheng city,Jiangsu province, more than 100 kilometers of urban roads are explored by using ground penetrating radar technology. After initial test, retest, positioning, verification and other processes,a total of 782 voids, emptying, loose and other disease bodies are found. This paper analyzes the causes of underground disease bodies and the relationship between the specific location of disease bodies and the distribution of urban pipe network, and puts forward targeted work suggestions for the disposal of underground disease bodies to realize the advance prediction and disposal of urban road disease bodies.
