Design of Dual-frequency Circular Polarization Beidou Navigation Microstrip Antenna
With the development of Beidou navigation satellite system, the demand for navigation and positioning is increasing, and the circular polarization Beidou navigation antenna has important research value. To meet the requirements of Beidou terminal equipment for antenna size miniaturization, low axial ratio and multi-frequency band, this paper adopts a design scheme of single feed point and two-layer patch to design a microstrip antenna covering BDS-3 B3I and BDS-3 B1I frequency bands. And the design scheme introduces the perturbation to make the antenna radiate the circular polarization wave by the method of opening slot on a circular patch. In addition,it realizes the antenna miniaturization by introducing the CSRR structure. The results show that the proposed antenna realizes circular polarization in both frequency bands, with dimensions of 60 mm×60 mm×5.8 mm.The axial gains of BDS-3 B3I and BDS-3 B1I bands are both greater than 2.6 dB,the axial ratio is less than 3 dB,the axial ratio of the elevation angle 20°is less than 7 dB,and the gain of the elevation angle 20° is greater than-4 dB,which meet the design index. It has a wide range of application prospects in scenarios with high positioning accuracy requirements, such as geodesy, bridge construction, oceanographic surveying, and autonomous driving navigation.
