Design of a Synchronous Acquisition System for Contact Pressure and Photoplethysmography
The application of photoplethysmography technology in wearable health monitoring field is becoming increasingly widespread. However, the contact pressure between sensors and skin may have a significant impact on signal acquisition. In order to study the influence mechanism of contact pressure changes on the acquisition of photoplethysmography signals,a controllable contact pressure and photoplethysmography synchronous acquisition system is designed. The system includes STM32 single-chip microcomputer,MAX30102 photoplethysmography sensor, and FSR402 thin film pressure sensor, achieving synchronous acquisition of photoplethysmography signals and pressure signals. The developed upper computer displays two-way signals in real time and it can save data.By controlling the pressure force on the fingers, photoplethysmography signals and pressure signals can be synchronously collected and displayed under different pressure application methods.
