Objective To investigate the characteristics of regional cerebral blood flow(CBF)in patients with type 2 bipolar disorder and suicide ideation. Methods A total of 100 patients with type 2 bipolar disorder who received treatment in Wenzhou Seventh People's Hospital from April 2019 to April 2021 were included. They were divided into non-suicidal ideation group(n=50)and suicidal ideation group(n=50)based on BSSI-19 score.Fifty healthy subjects who underwent physical examination in Wenzhou Seventh People's Hospital at the same time were selected as a control group.Cranial magnetic resonance imaging was performed in all subjects.CBF images were built using Functool package. The CBF was compared among groups. The relation between CBF and cognitive function was analyzed. Results The Montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA)scores in various cognitive domains and MoCA total score were significantly lower in non-suicidal ideation group and suicidal ideation group than in the control group(all P<0.05).Compared with the control group,CBF significantly increased in left superior temporal gyrus and left putamen in suicidal ideation and non-suicidal ideation groups, decreased in right posterior cingulate gyrus and left parahippocampal gyrus in suicidal ideation group(all P<0.05).CBF in left parahippocampal gyrus was positively correlated with delayed memory score in suicidal ideation group(P<0.05).Conclusion CBF decreases in right posterior cingulate gyrus and left parahippocampal gyrus in patients with type 2 bipolar disorder and suicidal ideation.CBF decrease in left parahippocampal gyrus is related to delayed memory impairment.
