Objective To investigate the effect of Qishen Yiqi dropping pills on left ventricular remodeling and levels of homocystine(Hcy),nitric oxide(NO),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy.Methods A retrospective study enrolled 116 patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy in outpatient or inpatient department of Wenzhou Seventh People's Hospital between October 2019 and October 2021.Among them,58 patients(control group)received conventional treatment with the"new quadruple therapy"(angiotensin receptor enkephalin inhibitor+β-blocker+mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist+sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor)and other 58 patients(observation group)received the"new quadruple therapy"combined with Qishen Yiqi dropping pills.Both groups received continuous treatment for 6 months.The left ventricular remodeling indexes[left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT),left ventricular remodeling index(LVRI),left ventricular mass index(LVMI)],cardiac function indexes[left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESd),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDd),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)],laboratory indexes(TNF-α,IL-6,Hcy,NO),adverse drug reactions and curative effect in the two groups were observed and compared before and after 6 months of treatment.Results After 6 months of treatment,LVPWT,LVRI,LVMI,LVEDd,LVESd,levels of serum TNF-α,IL-6 and Hcy were decreased,while LVEF and level of serum NO were increased in both groups,and improvement of all the above indexes was more significantly in observation group than control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence of adverse drug reactions(10.3%vs.15.5%)or total response rate(94.8%vs.86.2%)between the two groups(both P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Qishen Yiqi dripping pills with conventional western medicines can significantly inhibit inflammatory response in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy,improve left ventricular remodeling and cardiac function indicators,and has a high level of safety.
