人工智能何以赋能教师专业发展:理论模型与实践路向

人工智能赋能教师专业发展已成为教育变革的重要议题,然而在当前人工智能助推教师专业发展的实践中,还存在认知、行为与环境等方面的现实阻碍,已有的专业发展模型主要是外源性的,缺乏对教师主体性的观照.在促进教师专业发展过程中,人工智能作为赋能因子的关键在于通过智能技术确定教师所处的发展阶段,消除和减少发展阶段间的各种阻碍因素,达成专业发展进入下一阶段的条件,实现教师专业发展的进阶.以此为切入点从教师主体性的视角,在现有教师专业发展阶段模型中融入人工智能因子构建的人工智能增强型教师专业发展模型(AIeTPD),具备发展计划可定制、发展过程可调控、发展成效可评价的特点,可通过教师学习、智能研修、教学创新三条路径,支持诊断式学习预测、个性化在线学习、混合式智能研修、交互式虚拟教研、孪生式混合课堂、智能化教学反馈以及综合化教师评价等应用场景,促进教师专业发展的阶段演化,重塑教师学习者、互学者、促学者角色,为数字时代大规模个性化教师专业发展提供支撑.
Empowering Teacher Professional Development with Artificial Intelligence:A Theoretical Model and Practical Directions
Empowering teacher professional development(TPD)with Artificial Intelligence(AI)has emerged as an important issue in contemporary education reform.However,current practice of promoting TPD with AI face significant challenges in terms of cognition,behavior and environment.Existing models of teacher professional development are predominantly exogenous,often lacking the perspective of teacher subjectivity.In order to realize the advancement of TPD,AI should function as an empowering factor by leveraging intelligent technologies to identify the development stage of a teacher,reduce or eliminate various impediments across these stages,and reach the conditions necessary for the next development stage.This study introduces an AI-empowered Teacher Professional Development(AIeTPD)model,which integrates AI into the existing TPD stage model from the perspective of teacher subjectivity.The AIeTPD model is characterized by its ability to provide customizable development plans,adaptive development processes and evaluable development outcomes.It supports diverse application scenarios,including diagnostic learning prediction,personalized online learning,blended intelligent training,interactive virtual teaching and research,twin hybrid classroom,intelligent teaching feedback and holistic teacher evaluation,through three paths:teacher learning,intelligent training and pedagogical innovation.It can also facilitate the stage evolution of TPD and reshape the teacher's roles as learner,co-learner and facilitator,thus supporting the massive and personalized professional development of teachers in the digital age.
