As online learning gradually becomes an optional learning mode for credit courses in traditional academic education, more theoretical and empirical research is urgently needed to understand the characteristics and mechanisms of online learning in this new scenar-io,which is different from informal and blended learning. In view of this, this study compiled a questionnaire on the basis of the classical scale of learning motivation and self-regulated learning as well as the technology acceptance model, and tested the college students of an online learning credit course in a Chinese university.Based on 1021 valid questionnaire data, this study tested the influence of the intrinsic value of learning on the online learning acceptance through structural equation modeling method, and the mediating role of the six online self-regulated learning skills:goal setting, environment structuring, task strategies, time management,help-seeking and self-evaluation.The results show that students'perceived intrinsic value of learning does not affect their online learning acceptance directly, but indirectly through students'self-regulated learning skills.Intrinsic value has a varying driving effect on the six self-regulated learning skills, and has a stronger influence on goal setting, environment structuring and help-seeking.In addition to help-seeking,the other five self-regu-lated learning skills can significantly affect students'online learning acceptance and play a significant mediating role between intrinsic value and online learning acceptance.Based on the discussion of the research results, this study puts forward some suggestions to promote the comprehensive development of students'self-regulated learning skills, attach importance to the design of self-regulated learning scaffol-ding in online courses, and plan public learning support services based on situational needs.
