Objective To explore the influence of different methods of screening on the detection of retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)and the analysis of related factors on adverse reactions. Methods A total of 1200 premature infants born in the obstetrics department of our hospital from January 2023 to February 2024 were selected for fundus retinal screening.According to the screening method,400 patients(800 eyes),400 patients(800 eyes)in RetcamⅢ group and 400 patients(800 eyes)in RetcamⅢ combined scleral compression group were compared with the stages of ROP in the three groups, and recorded the occurrence of adverse reactions in the children during the examination. Results Comparison of ROP stage results between different screening methods(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions among the three screening groups was statistically different(P<0.05),and the incidence of adverse reactions in the RetcamⅢ group and RetcamⅢ and scleral compression group was lower than that in the BIO group. Conclusion The combination of RetcamⅢ and RetcamⅢ and scleral compression showed high consistency between ROP detection and BIO,and the incidence of adverse reactions was small.
