The Application of"Topic-Explanation"Theory in Verb-complement Structure
The verb-complement structure in Chinese,due to its own complexity and the imperfection of the semantic construction system,has always been a focus of attention in the field of grammar and is also a key and challenging aspect in International Chinese Language Teaching.Through the elaboration of the"Topic-Explanation"theory,this paper demonstrates the rationality of the"Topic-Explanation"framework for analyzing Chinese syntactic structure.On this basis,a detailed analysis is conducted on the issues of teaching degree complements,time-quantity complements,and action-quantity complements in International Chinese Language Teaching.Corresponding teaching focuses and strategies are also proposed.
