Shifang(《食方》)is recorded in the Han bamboo slips of Huxishan uncovered from Tomb 1 of the Han dynasty at Huxishan,Yuanling,Hunan,in which a variety of classifiers are used,including No.11"shu yi ti,zao gao yi yi(黍一梯、枣膏一柂)"."Ti(梯)"and"yi(柂)"are both used as implement classifiers,and their definition and transcription are very important to understand the meaning of the sentence."Ti(梯)"is probably related to the unearthed knobble-shaped wooden utensils,which is layered,rolled and similar to bamboo buckets for holding grain."Yi(柂)"should be transcribed as"duo(柁)"and read as"yi(匜)",which is also used for holding food.And the tomb unearthed different kinds of"yi(匜)"with exquisite appearance.Medicine and food are homologous.The combination of millet and jujube cream reflects not only the dietary preferences of the tomb owner,but also people's concept of health care in Han dynasty.
