In the history of the development of Taoism in China,there have been descendants of Taoist scholars who have annotated the scriptures of the previous generation.These annotations on Taoist scriptures,as well as the materials scattered throughout them,are important materials for the study of exegesis.The central content of annotations on the Daoist scriptures is to explain words and phrases.The Daoist scripture training materials also revolve around the interpretation of words and phrases,especially the explanation of ancient Chinese words,dialect words,Taoist language words,and word ambiguity.For the study of exegesis,Chinese history,and Taoist literature and language,it has high academic value and needs to be further and systematically explored and utilized.
