A Study on the Six Principles of Yanzi Chunqiu(《晏子春秋》)
This paper uses linguistics, philology and other relevant knowledge to analyze the 6 words or sentences in Yanzi Chunqiu(《晏子春秋》).The second"bu(不)"in"Chen bu gan bu zhi(臣不敢不知)"should be derived from the text,"bu gan zhi(不敢知)"is an ancient idiom, roughly equivalent to what is said now"difficult to guarantee、dare not guarantee, dare not say"."Gu(固)"is a high degree adverb used before the predicate word"duoxin(多心)",can be interpreted as"original, true"."Yan bu ji、zhi bu ji xue zhe si(言不疾、指不及血者死)"does not belong to the content of the oath, but tells the narrative language of the development of the story plot. The"li(立)"in"Ke li er yi wen(可立而以闻)"should be borrowed from the word"qi(泣)",and"Shi li yang zhi,Ke qi er yi wen(使吏养之,可立而以闻)"is a hypothetical compound sentence. The word"zhi(之)"should appear after the word"wen(闻)"in the sentence"Chen wen xia wu zhi ci……(臣闻下无直辞……)".Similarly, the word"zhi(之)"in"Zhong ni wen zhi(仲尼闻之)"should also be retained, both are anaphoric usage.
