Implementation and Guarantee of Language Service Planning for The Elderly
With the acceleration of the global aging trend,the language problems of the elderly have attracted increasing attention from the society:how to help them eliminate communication barriers,restore language functions,integrate into a smart society,and strengthen emotional connections have become the key to protecting the language rights of the elderly and improving their life qualities.It is an important measure for people's quality of life,which also constitutes the core issue of language services for the elderly.Based on the discussion of the necessity and feasibility of language service planning for the elderly,the article advocates language service planning for the elderly from five aspects,namely,language education planning,rehabilitation planning,emotional planning,rights planning and technology planning.It also discusses the key measures from policy,funding,and talent perspectives to implement the language service planning.Formulating a language service plan for the elderly can meet the language needs of the elderly from an institutional perspective,protect the legitimate rights and interests of the elderly,enable them to better integrate into society,enjoy life in their later years,and promote the inclusive development of society.
