Matching Word Classes in Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education and Xiandai Hanyu Babaici(《现代汉语八百词》)
Based on a brief introduction to Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education and Xiandai Hanyu Babaici(《现代汉语八百词》),this paper compared word classes in these two books,and took adverbs as an example to analyse word classes matching between them.There were 212 adverbs listed in the Grammar Grading Outline of Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education,and there were 157 included in Xiandai Hanyu Babaici(《现代汉语八百词》)among them.The detailed explanations and numerous examples of corresponding entries in Xiandai Hanyu Babaici(《现代汉语八百词》)could provide effective supplements and useful references for Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education,thereby improving the efficiency of transforming theoretical knowledge from Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education into teaching practice.It was both feasible and necessary to closely connect Xiandai Hanyu Babaici(《现代汉语八百词》)with Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education.This not only allowed us to re-examine the significance and values of Xiandai Hanyu Babaici(《现代汉语八百词》)as a classic Chinese teaching grammar work,but also promoted the sustainable and high-quality development of International Chinese Language Education.
