Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)are a class of beneficial bacteria that colonize the plant rhizosphere.They can improve the growth and development of medicinal plants through multiple growth promoting effects,thereby reducing the negative effects caused by long-term use of fertilizers and pes-ticides in production.The article reviews the effects of PGPR on the growth,development,and stress resist-ance of medicinal plants,aiming to provide theoretical guidance for the sustainability and high-quality produc-tion of medicinal plants.
