Parkinson's disease(PD)is a neurodegenerative disease commonly in the elderly,which is mainly characterized by resting tremor,bradykinesia,and muscle tonus.Caenorhabditis elegans has its unique advantages in the study of neurological diseases and is a widely used model organism.The paper briefly sum-marized the characteristics of the Caenorhabditis elegans model and focuses on the application of Caenorhabdi-tis elegans in the study of PD,which provided reference and options for the study of PD mechanism and the development of new drugs.
