Application of online and offline structured health education in gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the effect of online and offline structured health education on mental state,blood glucose control level and pregnancy outcome of pregnant women with gestational diabetes melli-tus.Methods A total of 129 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to our department from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group(64 cases)and observation group(65 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group was given routine pregnant women's school to carry out health education,and the observation group was given online and offline structured health education.The mental state,blood glucose control level,gestational diabetes self-management ability,self-efficacy level and pregnancy outcome of the two groups were compared.Results Com-pared with before intervention,the scores of Hamilton Depression Scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale,fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin in the two groups decreased on the first day before delivery,and the decrease in the observation group was more obvious.The scores of self-management ability and self-efficacy increased,and the increase in the observation group was more obvious.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Online and offline structured health education can improve the mental state and blood glucose control level of pregnant women with gestational diabetes,,improve the self-management ability and self-efficacy level of gestational diabetes,and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
