Analysis of the current status and related influencing factors of psychological distress in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To explore the current status and influencing factors of psychological distress in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 100 COPD patients admit-ted to our hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected. The Kessler Psychological Distress Scale(K10)was used to assess the patients'psychological distress levels at admission, and relevant data were collected. The K10 scores of patients with different characteristics were compared, and the influencing factors of psychological distress in COPD patients were analyzed. Results The K10 score of the 100 COPD patients was(27.58±2.76).Statistically significant differences were observed in the K10 scores among COPD patients with different disease durations,comorbidities,self-efficacy,and social support levels(P<0.05).Linear re-gression analysis showed that a disease duration of more than 5 years, two or more comorbidities, low self-effi-cacy,and low social support were risk factors for higher levels of psychological distress in COPD patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The level of psychological distress in COPD patients is mainly influenced by factors such as a disease duration of more than 5 years, multiple comorbidities, low self-efficacy,and low social support.
