Lumbar spinal stenosis is a common disease prone to the elderly in China.This kind of disease is often caused by the decline of the overall function of the human body,which leads to low back and leg pain and a se-ries of neurological symptoms.There are many conservative treatment methods for this disease,among which tradi-tional Chinese medicine treatment has unique advantages.As a common treatment method of Traditional Chinese Medicine,acupuncture and moxibustion can achieve the effect of regulating yin and yang,strengthening the body resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors through the role of channels and collaterals,which is highly targeted towards local lesions.However,there are many methods of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment,while there are different opinions on their usage and efficacy.In order to explore a better treatment scheme,this article reviews the articles on acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis in recent years,thus providing some reference for practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
