Sanren Decoction was originated from Wu Tang's"Detailed Analysis of Epidemic Warm Diseases".It is a typical prescription for treating dampness and temperature at the beginning,evil in Qi phase,and dampness pre-dominating over heatsyndrome.The decoction has the effect of purging qi and clearing dampness and heat,and is mainly used for the initial onset of damp-warmdisease and dampness predominating over heat of summerheat-damp-ness syndrome.At present,its clinical application is not limited to the understanding of the pathogenesis of damp-heat.According to the overall concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment,the pathogenesis of damp-heat is understood.The flexibleaddition and subtraction of the decoction is widely used in different system diseases,which achieves an ideal curative effect.
