Effect of ChaihuShugan San Combined with Mosapride in the Treatment of Elderly Functional Dyspepsia
Objectives To investigate the effect of ChaihuShugan San combined with Mosapride in the treatment of elderly functional dyspepsia(FD).Methods A total of 82 elderly FD patients admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to June 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the treatment methods,with 41 patients in each group.The control group was treated with Mosapride,and the observation group was treated with Mosapride combined with ChaihuShugan San.The TCM syndrome score,treatment effect,gastric emptying rate,and psychological status were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of main symptoms,secondary symptoms and total symptoms of both groups were significantly decreased compared to those before treatment(P<0.05),and those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the SDS and SAS scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the gastric emptying rate was significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.05).Especially,the decrease/increase amplitude of the observation group was significantly greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions ChaihuShugan San combined with Mosapride has a definite therapeutic effect on elderly FD,which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients,relieve depression and anxiety,improve gastric emptying function,and has good safety.
