Clinical Study of TaohongSiwuDecoction in the Prevention and Treatment ofHiddenBlood Loss After Intertrochanteric Femoral Fracture
Objectives Tostudy the effect of TaohongSiwuDecoction on the prevention and treatment of postoperativehidden blood loss after Proximal Femoral Nail Antirotation(PFNA)for Intertrochanteric Femoral Fractures(IFF).Methods A total of 80 IFF patients who underwent PFNA surgery in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received routine treatment,while the observation group was treated with Taohong SiwuDecoction from 2 days before surgery to 3 days after surgery(except the day of surgery).The surgical indicators,postoperative hidden blood loss,drainage volume,and blood routine indicators were compared between the two groups.Results There was no statistically significant difference in surgical time and intraoperative bleeding between the two groups(P＞0.05).The postoperative hidden blood loss and drainage volume in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group(P＜0.05).On the third day after surgery,the platelet and hemoglobin values in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions TaohongSiwu Decoction can effectively reduce the hidden blood loss of IFF patients after PFNA,and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
