Application of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation Combined with Occupational Therapy in Patients with Upper Limb Hemiplegia after Stroke
Objectives To study the application effect of Transcranial DirectCurrent Stimulation(tDCS)combined with Occupational Therapy(OT)in patients with upper limb hemiparesis after stroke. Methods A total of 60patients with post-stroke upper limb hemiplegia who were treated in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were select-ed as the study subjects, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with OT,and the observation group was treated with tDCS combined with OT.Upper limb function, recovery of hemiplegic upper limb functionand self-care ability in daily life were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the FMA-UE and MSS scores of both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the MAS scores were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the observa-tion group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the Brunnstrom staging scale scores of both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the total score of the observation group was sig-nificantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the BMI score of the observation group was sig-nificantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The use of tDCS combined with OT in the treat-ment of upper limb hemiplegia after stroke can effectively promote the recovery of upper limb function, reduce the de-gree of spasticity of the affected limbs, and improve patients'ability to take care of themselves in daily life.
