Application of Casting Repair Technique in Gray Iron Cylinder Block
An introduction was made on the casting defects repair technique including casting adhesive repair,casting hot welding,cold welding.The applicable castings and applicable defects of various repair techniques were verified by production examples,and the casting repair economic benefit of the company from January to November was conducted,the results showed that the cost reduction effect was obvious.Finally,pointed out:when the defects locations of cylinder block being different,using single welding or adhesive repair would decrease repair quality,and even caused the defect enlargement and extension,therefore,when repairing defects,it would be could only the above repair welding method used to achieve a satisfactory repair effect.
