球墨铸铁壳体球化衰退的原因分析及防止措施

Analysis and Prevention Measures of Nodulization Degeneration on Nodular Iron Shells
The structure and original production process of nodular iron shell castings were introduced.The issues of inadeq-uate metallurgical structure and mechanical performance of the castings were elaborating in detail.Through physical analysis of the castings,the cause of these issues was identified as nodularization degeneration.Reasons were analyzed from the aspects of inoculation treatment,pouring temperature,and pouring time.Measures to prevent nodularization degeneration were proposed:(1)Strengthening inoculation control and increasing pouring with flow inoculation.(2)Controlling nodularization treatment temperature within the range of 1 450~1 480 ℃.(3)Controlling the time from inoculation to completion of pouring within 10 minutes.After production validation,complete graphite nodules were achieved,resolving the issue of nodularization degeneration,and meeting the technical requirements for mechanical performance.
