Objective It is to observe the changes of the energy value of Chinese medicine meridian detector in patients with vertigo, and to explore the correlation between the energy value of Chinese medicine meridians and vertigo. Methods A total of 106 patients with vertigo who were treated at outpatient clinics and hospitalization departments of Beijing Shijitan Hospital from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the study group, and 117 healthy subjects at the same period were selected as the control group, and the energy values of the primary acupoints of the twelve regular meridians of the subjects in the two groups were detected and compared by traditional Chinese medicine meridian health tester, and the cor-relation between meridian energy values and vertigo was analyzed by Logistic regression analysis. Results There were no statistically significant differences in gender, age, and the energy values of the twelve regular meridian primary acupoints Chongyang(stomach meridian),Taibai(spleen meridian),Shenmen(heart meridian),Wangu(small intestine meridi-an),Taixi(kidney meridian),Daling(pericardium meridian),Yanchi(Sanjiao meridian),Qiuxu(gallbladder meridi-an)and Taichong(liver meridian)between the two groups(all P>0.05),while there were statistically significant differ-ences in the energy values of Taiyuan(lung meridian),Yangxi(large intestine meridian)and Shugu(bladder meridian)(all P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that low energy of the bladder meridian was an independent influencing factor for vertigo(OR=0.957,95%CI:0.923 to 0.991,P=0.014).Conclusion In patients with vertigo, the energy of bladder meridian(Shugu)is lower while the energy of lung meridian(Taiyuan)and large intestine meridian(Yangxi)were sthena, and there was no regularity in the energy changes of the other meridians, which suggests that the development of the disease may be associated with abnormal energy values of bladder meridian.
