Objective:To assess the safety and effectiveness of this non-contact remote interrogate system during Cardiac implantable electrical devices(CIEDs)implantation compared with the conventional method of on-site interrogate CIEDs by technical service personnel. Methods:This study is a retrospective study. In chronological order,110 patients who received CIEDs implantation in our hospital from August 2020 to March 2021 were continuously analyzed.According to intraoperative interrogation methods, they were divided into conventional interrogation group and non-contact group.Among the enrolled patients,59 patients in the conventional group were interrogated on-site during the operation by technical service personnel, and the remaining 51 patients in the non-contact group were interrogated through the new remote non-contact system. Results:We found that the door opening and closing frequency of the conventional group was higher than that of the non-contact group[(9.8±1.8)vs.(5.8±1.2),P<0.05].During CIEDs implantation and 12 months after operation, there were no statistical differences in device-related parameters and operation-related adverse events between the conventional group and the non-contact group. Conclusions:Compared with conventional interrogate methods, the new non-contact interrogate system based on 5G communication transmission technology is safe and effective.
