Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics of patients with tracheobronchomegaly,in order to improve clinical physicians'understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.Methods:Retrospective collection of clinical data from patients diagnosed with tracheobronchomegaly disease in the respiratory department of Beijing Friendship Hospital,Capital Medical University over the past 5 years,analysis of their basic conditions clinical symptoms and signs,imaging examination and other clinical data.Results:A total of 4 patients were collected,and their clinical symptoms were mainly cough,sputum production,and wheezing.Two patients were male and the other two patients were female,with a minimum age of 65 years and a maximum age of 90 years.Two female patients had no smoking history,while two male patients were both smokers,and all patients had different degrees of bronchiectasis.2 patients were infected with drug-resistant pseudomonas aeruginosa,1 patient was infected with tuberculosis,1 patient was intubated,and 1 patient died.Conclusions:Tracheobronchomegaly often accompanies bronchiectasis and can be accompanied by drug-resistant bacterial infections.Symptomatic treatment,especially infection control,is particularly important.The prognosis of elderly patients is poor,and airway management is complicated,which should be taken seriously.
