Teaching Reform of "Urban Public Safety" from Perspective of Emerging Risks
With the continuous development of urbanization and the improvement of science and technology in China,cities are constantly facing the threat of various emerging risks.The course of Urban Public Safety plays a vital role in training talents to deal with emerging risks.In view of several problems during the practice of Urban Public Safety course under the perspective of emerging risks,this paper proposes an innovated teaching reform of urban public safety courses under the major of safety engineering from the aspects of determining course objectives,adjusting teaching content,innovating teaching modes,and improving the assessment methodology,and puts forward innovative teaching content and teaching modes that integrate new concepts and technologies such as GIS,smart city,and virtual simulation technology.The innovative reform broaden students'horizons,improve students'interest in safety disciplines,and provide support for cultivating application-oriented innovative talents with solid professional skills,broad vision and service awareness.
