Coupling Logic of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Tourism Development:A Case Study of Yongchun Xiang in the Dapu Area of Quanzhou
The inheritance and protection practice of intangible cultural heritage has a natural coupling relationship with tourism development. As a national intangible cultural heritage,Yongchun Xiang faces challenges such as a lack of modern characteristics in heritage products, poor product experiences, inadequate overall planning for heritage protection, shallow industrial integration, and a lack of talent development in heritage inheritance,as well as low public participation.Drawing insights from the smellwalk of Doncaster in the United Kingdom, the 100 Smellscapes of Japan, and the development model of the Grasse town in France,we can clarify the mechanism of integrating intangible cultural heritage inheritance and tourism development. This involves spatial integration to encourage active visitor participation, regional feature integration to foster local cultural confidence, and industrial integration to leverage the advantages of intangible cultural heritage resources, thus promoting the prosperity and sustainable development of rural economies.
