Inscriptions on objects are an important branch of ancient inscriptions.At the beginning of the creation of inscriptions on objects,the content was simple and the connotation was single.It gradually developed in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties,and by the Mid-Tang Dynasty,the content and connotation of inscriptions on objects gradually became rich and specific,reflecting the unity of"material nature"and"human nature",achieving the state of"unity of things and myself".The author combs through various inscriptions on objects in the Mid-Tang Dynasty,explores the historical content recorded and the textual connotations reflected in the deeds of literati,and at the same time explores the literati culture reflected in them.In addition,by analyzing multiple inscriptions on buried objects in the Mid-Tang and Late-Tang Dynasty,we can also explore the emotional trends and ideological changes of literati who were nostalgic for the past,and sort out the cultural spirit of that time.
