Archetypal imagery is an inexhaustible source of material for Chinese narrative,such as myths,heroes,totems,witchcraft rituals,and other archetypes,which show fantastic imagination colors and reflect the primitive ancestors'simple thinking about the world in people's narratives.At the same time,through these archetypal narratives,we can perceive their unique analogical thinking,symbolic thinking and the thinking of displacement and deformation,so as to understand the narrative logic of the harmonious operation between change and invariance in archetypal narratives.By summarizing the characteristics of the archetypal narratives,we can find out the uniqueness of Chinese archetypal narratives and grasp their value to contemporary life.
