Abstract
Pride and Prejudice is Jane Austen's classic work in the 19th century. Since published for nearly two hundred years, it has always attracted readers and critics for its unique artistic charm. With the theory of narratology, this paper tries to explore the unique charm of Pride and Prejudice from the aspect of narrative perspectives. It analyzes the narrator's omniscient point of view, and the use of characters' limited angle of view. Omniscient narrator knows everything, and sometimes comments on the characters and events in public and secretly. Thus the characters are vividly portrayed. Sometimes it switches to a limited point of view, which contributes to dramatic story development and authenticity, smoothness, and interesting plot. The protagonists experience limited reason, pride and prejudice, and overcome pride and prejudice, reaching genuine reason ultimately, highlighting the theme.
