Objective:To explore the clinical effect of gynecological outpatient intervention on patients with atrophic vaginitis. Methods:A total of 80 patients with atrophic vaginitis who went to the Community Office of the Affiliated Hospital of Xiangyang Vocational and Technical College for documentation and health management from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected and divided into observation group(n=40)and control group(n=40)according to the documentation time.According to the different ways of treatment and nursing, patients were divided into self-medication group and hospital gynecological outpatient intervention group. The time when the symptoms of atrophic vaginitis disappeared, the evaluation of patients′ self-comfort and the recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the data of the two groups, the symptoms of postmenopausal women with atrophic vaginitis disappeared earlier and the recovery time of normal vaginal environment(pH value of vaginal secretions and vaginal cleanliness)was earlier in the gynecological outpatient intervention group than in the self-medication group(P<0.05).The patients'self-experience perineal comfort was higher(P<0.05),and the recurrence rate after recovery was lower(P>0.05).Conclusion:In the establishment and health management of postmenopausal women, shunting patients with atrophic vaginitis symptoms for gynecological outpatient intervention(make relevant examinations, and conduct corresponding gynecological outpatient treatment and nursing according to the examination results)can improve the symptoms of patients with vaginitis earlier, improve the comfort of patients with perineum, reduce the recurrence rate of atrophic vaginitis, and improve the quality of life of postmenopausal women.
