New research and development institutions first sprouted in the Pearl River Delta region at the end of the last century,and played an important role in overcoming the institutional constraints of traditional research institutions,focusing on regional innovation,and promoting the transformation of results.At present,the construction of new R&D institutions in Xiangyang City has entered a critical period of high-quality development,facing outstanding problems such as insufficient industrial penetration,insufficient transformation of achievements and poor talent training.By investigating the current situation of the construction of new R&D institutions,this paper puts forward a new path of"three synergies"for the construction and development of new R&D institutions,providing reference for the high-quality development of new R&D institutions.
