The Survey and Analysis of Mental Health Status among Freshmen in Secondary Vocational Schools——A Case Study of the Mental Health Survey among Freshmen in School A in Shiyan
Objective:In order to actively respond to the call of"Healthy China Action(2019-2030)"and understand the mental health status of secondary vocational freshmen in School A of Shiyan City,the mental health status of secondary vocational freshmen in School A was investigated at the beginning of enrollment in autumn 2023,so as to facilitate targeted and effective counseling of psychological problems for secondary vocational freshmen.Methods:Using the Questionnaire Star Platform,the Psychological Health Scale of Middle School Students was used to investigate the mental health status of the secondary vocational freshmen in Shiyan City,and the results of the psychological evaluation were analyzed by SPSS26.0.Results:In general,the overall mental health status of the freshmen in A school of Shiyan City was good,80.8%of the freshmen had no mental problems.However,the obsessive-compulsive symptoms,study pressure,anxiety and depression were more prominent among the freshmen,and the detection rates were 28.5%,28.2%,27.2%and 25.0%,respectively.Conclusion:The obsessive-compulsive symptoms,learning pressure,anxiety and depression are particularly prominent among the freshmen in the secondary vocational school,and the emotional problems and interpersonal problems are relatively few,which require close attention,timely counseling and tracking by many parties.
