Analysis on the Application Effect of "Knowledge,Belief and Practice" Health Education Model in Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients
Objective To explore the effect of health education model of"knowing,believing and walking"in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients.Methods Patients with MHD in Xiangcheng District of Xiangyang City from July 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into intervention group and control group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group carried out the traditional health education mode,and the intervention group carried out the"knowledge,belief and practice"health education mode.After 8 months of intervention,health knowledge status score,self-management ability score and quality of life score were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of health knowledge,self-management ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups,and the differences after intervention were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The health education model of"knowing,believing and acting",health awareness,health literacy and health behavior intervention for MHD patients can enhance their health belief,cultivate their self-management ability,and have positive significance for improving the quality of life of MHD patients.
